Consular assistance/service at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia is available for all Indonesian citizens and Indonesian legal entities in Malaysia as well as foreign citizens. Consular assistance/services provided by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia consists of:

1. Issuance of diplomatic and service visas for foreign citizens holding diplomatic or service passports;

2. .Issuance of birth certificates for Indonesian citizens born in Malaysia ;

3. Issuance of Miscellaneous letter, such as :

   • burial of deceased Indonesian citizens in Malaysia ;
   • Repatriation of deceased Indonesian citizens to Indonesia ;
   • Driving License.

4. Legalization of documents issued in Indonesia to be used in Malaysia or vice versa;

5. Conveyance of court order letters issued by Indonesian judicial courts to the concerned individuals;

6. Protection and advisory legal assistance for Indonesian citizens in Malaysia ;

7. Support for Indonesian citizens in legal process in Malaysia .

Consular assistance at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia is available during office hours from Monday to Friday at :

1. 09.00 – 13.00 for document submission
2. 14.00 – 17.00 for collecting
