The Information and PR section is the spearhead of the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur and as such has to provide the public with information through press releases, counter negative messages

Its duties are among others :

To maintain a good and sound relation with the media: local, Indonesian and International media.
To maintain a good relationship with the Indonesian as well as Malaysian Public.
To promote Indonesia in Malaysia and to seek further avenues in increasing the number of Malaysian tourists visiting Indonesia
Information dissemination to the public on various issues.
Facilitate the process to obtain the journalistic visa.
